IEE & IPLP 2023

The International Symposium on Engineering Education provides a platform for discussing the future of engineering education and exploring innovative approaches to address the challenge of providing effective and high-quality engineering education that meets the evolving needs of the world.

Hosted jointly by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), the symposium brings together experts to share their experiences and insights on engineering education and explore how a combination of established and innovative teaching methods can enhance the learning experience for students.

As the symposium draws to a close, students from the HKUST x SKKU Intercultural Peer Learning Program (IPLP) 2023 will present their design solutions aimed at improving the living conditions of citizens in Hong Kong and Korea. The teams from both countries will showcase their innovative proposals that draw upon their unique cultural perspectives and aim to enhance the quality of life for citizens in these regions.
